borja

Real Madrid Castilla’s Borja Garcia has joined Cordoba on loan for the upcoming season with an option to buy back for the Madrid club.

Borja, a midfielder, has played for Cordoba in the 2011-12 before he signed a four-year contract with Castilla. Now with Castilla playing in the Segunda B, Zinedine Zidane has decided to give the player some time to develop with the Blanquiverdes who will be playing in the top division.

In an official statement on the Cordoba website, they said:

Borja Garcia joins the Blanquiverdes team in the form of a loan deal and the Madrid club reserves the option to purchase the footballer.

Incorporating Borja Garcia will be easy for a player returning to the Cordobistas who left Cordoba CF a couple of seasons ago to join Real Madrid Castilla, from where he is joining our club.

Good luck to Borja and wish he gets playing opportunities in the top division.
