Real Madrid CF has officially denied any involvement with the network of Gao Ping based on the details emerging in the Emperador case in China. The network was allegedly involved in money laundering schemes, details of which are emerging on a daily basis based on investigations and court hearings.

In one of the wiretaps, one of the members of the network – Yongping Wu Liu is claimed to have the power in Hong Kong and China to accompany Real Madrid on its trip to China in 2011.
